Here at ArtBeat, we want to celebrate and uplift the visual arts in our community… which means that in addition to showcasing what’s going on with LAL, other arts organizations and artists, we also want to encourage people to TALK about what’s going on.

Art Beat is a place to exchange ideas, discuss exhibits, ask questions, find friends, learn something, enjoy yourself. We aim to elevate the dialogue surrounding the visual arts, so in exchanging, discussing, asking, finding learning and enjoying, we ask everyone to play nice.

Treat others how you want to be treated, comment with courtesy, don’t criticize without construction. You know, be cool. Should you fail at being cool, we will be forced to handle the situation as we see fit.
